For middle leaders 

NAHT Edge is a category of NAHT membership specifically for middle leaders. We offer tailored support and services for middle leaders, online advice and resources, and full trade union protection to give you peace of mind.

Am I eligible? 

To be eligible to join NAHT Edge, you need have a leadership responsibility within an education setting. Roles that are eligible include ALENCO, SENCO, phase leaders and subject leaders. This is not an exhaustive list and if you would like further clarification please email joinus@naht.org.uk.

Fully-funded school resource management and ICFP training for all school leaders and governors

​​The Department for Education is offering fully-funded training on integrated curriculum and financial planning (ICFP) and school resource management.

Integrated curriculum and financial planning (ICFP) is a management process that is intended to help schools plan the best curriculum for their pupils with the funding they have available. It can be used in any phase or type of school. ICFP involves measuring your current curriculum, staffing structure and finances, and using the data to create a three to five year plan.

There are a series of six, one-hour, webinars, and individuals can register for for as many or as few  as they like. The topics are:

  • Introduction to benchmarking
  • ICFP using DfE tools
  • ICFP metrics: deep dive
  • Introduction to procurement
  • Joined up leadership for effective school resource management
  • ICFP during times of uncertainty

This series is aimed at school business professionals, head teachers, the senior leadership team, curriculum leads, governors and trustees at both maintained schools and academies.

The webinars will be delivered by Entrust Support Services from December 2020 to March 2021.
