Celebrating our equality reps: championing equality, diversity and inclusion in NAHT

A diverse group of people stands together in front of a vibrant red wall, smiling and engaging with one another.

Equality, diversity and inclusion aren’t just values; they’re principles we must actively champion in everything we do.

In our latest Leadership Focus magazine feature, journalist Nic Paton takes an early look at the work of our new grassroots equality reps and the role they’re beginning to play in shaping the future of NAHT.

You’ll hear from Kerri Edge, deputy chief executive of Rivermead Inclusive Trust in Gillingham, Kent, who is committed to tackling disadvantage in all its forms, and see how our growing network is starting to embed equality, diversity and inclusion into the heart of our work – step by step, and with the ambition to make a lasting difference.

We’d love to hear from you. How can NAHT’s equality reps best support you and your colleagues? What barriers still exist in your workplace, and how should NAHT tackle them? Your feedback will help guide this work as it develops.
