The DfE launches a new network for school business leaders working in special schools and alternative provision in England

A new national network for school business professionals working in special schools and alternative provision in England has been launched. The network is facilitated by Schools North East and supported by the Department for Education (DfE).

The network (or 'NNoSS') aims to provide support, information, advice, guidance and continuing professional development for its members. It also intends to help with buying practices, given the unique challenges and requirements that special schools can face in this area.

The network is open to all school business professionals working in special schools, alternative provision and hospital schools in England's maintained, free schools and academies.
