Well-being will become increasingly important as a result of longer working lives, tighter budgets, and more responsibility and accountability particularly for those in the leadership group. Schools will need to ‘ think outside the box’ in order to keep workload under control in difficult circumstances and to support staff well-being.
This advice note covers a wide area in relation to the ‘well-being’ of staff in schools. It sets out, in broad terms, the legislation which applies and signposts members to further information on specific aspects of legislation and good practice.
