NAHT Crown Dependencies

NAHT represents school leaders in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. We provide advice, training and support for our members on a range of issues faced by senior leaders in schools. Forced academisation

This advice considers the legal position and process for conversion to academy status, the grounds on which can a school be forced to become an academy and when this can be challenged, and answers further questions around the issue of forced academisation.
