NAHT Crown Dependencies

NAHT represents school leaders in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. We provide advice, training and support for our members on a range of issues faced by senior leaders in schools. Along with our colleagues in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, NAHT is there to defend and extend the rights of school leaders.

NAHT's pension fact sheets

Our series of pension fact sheets will help you to understand the options for your pension pot. These fact sheets are available to NAHT members only.

Annual allowance and tax advice

NAHT is unable to provide any tax guidance to members – as a trade union, this is something which falls outside of our remit. The annual allowance is an extremely complex area that can involve large sums of money. It is a heavily regulated area, so only firms that are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority can assist. You can read more about the annual allowance and tax advice in our overview for members of the Teachers' Pension Scheme.

You may already have a trusted financial advisor who can help or have a recommendation from a family member. Alternatively, if you don’t have a financial advisor or have a personal recommendation, you may find the information available via this link useful: moneyhelper.org.uk/en/getting-help-and-advice/financial-advisers/choosing-a-financial-adviser.
