Working in partnership with organisations like NAHT, Education Support support individuals and help schools and colleges to improve the mental health and well-being of their staff. They also carry out research and advocate for changes in government policy for the benefit of the education workforce.
Free, confidential helpline for NAHT members
As an NAHT member, you can access a dedicated, confidential counselling and support helpline on 0800 917 4055, provided by Education Support. Open 24/7 and staffed by qualified counsellors, it offers emotional and practical support whenever you need it.
Education Support's research
Education Support's annual Teacher Wellbeing Index, conducted with YouGov, shows the well-being of the education workforce is at crisis point. Their latest policy paper, Revisiting the teacher retention crisis, calls for a national retention strategy grounded in workplace well-being, with practical recommendations to improve staff well-being, reduce attrition and support sustainable careers.

Helpline
When a teacher, school leader or education staff member is feeling overwhelmed, burnt out or anxious the Education Support free, confidential helpline provides emotional and practical support. It is staff by qualified counsellors and available 24/7.
Resources
Education Support provde evidence-based toolkits and guidance to help you build a positive, supportive school culture. Professional supervision
Their fully funded professional supervision offers school leaders six online sessions with a fully qualified supervisor who understands the education sector. Supervision has a professional focus and is totally confidential.
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
