Audience

All school leaders.

Session Description

The Education Support Teacher Well-being Index 2024 cites 78% of all staff are stressed, of which 84% are senior leaders. Rates of anxiety, depression, burnout and acute stress remain at high levels this year (page 24).

This and other research highlights the current climate in many schools that is resulting in leaders feeling stressed, exhausted, unseen, and speeding toward burnout. Leaders are statistically leading the way.

Have you paused to consider you own wellbeing? Your stress levels? Are you able to switch off after a day in school? Do you feel like time is constantly lacking?

This level of overwhelm leads to high staff absence costs, poor retention, and inevitably impacts the students’ ability to learn, grow and flourish in their school careers.

In this interactive session, we will challenge your habits and mindsets, together finding better ways forward using research-based tools.

Put aside this time to reconnect with your own sense of purpose and wellbeing as a leader.

See how wellbeing can be embedded into your school culture.

Prepare to take action and bring about change to enable both you and your staff to thrive.

Aims

A fully interactive session to explore three research-backed keys to overcoming stress and overwhelm, to enable you to be more productive, less tired and even to thrive both individually and as a team.

We will cover:
•    Making time for what matters to you when time is tight
•    Making space for clearer thoughts and actions
•    Improving relationships, reducing conflict, reducing stress

Take away tools to become more productive, happy, energetic and fulfilled.
