NAHT – annual allowance and tax advice
NAHT is unable to provide any tax guidance to members – as a trade union, this is something which falls outside of our remit. The annual allowance is an extremely complex area that can involve large sums of money. It is a heavily regulated area, so only firms that are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority can assist.
You can read more about the annual allowance and tax advice in our overview for members of the Teachers' Pension Scheme.
You may already have a trusted financial advisor who can help or have a recommendation from a family member. Alternatively, if you don’t have a financial advisor or have a personal recommendation you may find the information available via this link useful: moneyhelper.org.uk/en/getting-help-and-advice/financial-advisers/choosing-a-financial-adviser.
