Supporting diversity and inclusion

A commitment to diversity and inclusion can be grounded in, but not limited to, an employer’s responsibilities under equality legislation. The Equality Act 2010 sets out the ways in that everyone is protected by the legislation and what is required of schools and other areas of the public sector. This piece of NAHT advice considers what you, as an employer, could consider doing that goes above and beyond the legal minimum to promote diversity and inclusion within your school.
