Schools financial value standards (SFVS)

Tailored training

This course is only available on a consultancy basis where we come to you.

Course description

Schools are now required to self-assess their financial management procedures and controls annually, and to identify any areas of non-compliance for further action. The responsibility is placed on governors who, in conjunction with school leaders and school business leaders, are left to make judgements about whether the school delivers good value for money and maintains appropriate and safe controls. This programme helps participants to understand the wider process, explores a plan of attack and provides quick tips for good relationships with internal auditors and a successful outcome to the SFVS process.
