New to headship

Tailored training

This course is only available on a consultancy basis where we come to you.

Course description

This one-day programme looks at the issues and challenges facing school leaders in their first headship.  Through discussion and interactions, participants have the time to look at their individual situation, crucial relationships, leadership challenges, how to deal with "stuff", managing the diary, where to look for help and support, and how to create effective networks.  There will be opportunities to work alongside others in the same situation and to use the knowledge and experience of the course facilitator.  At the end of the day, participants should have a clear idea of how to shape their work to make a greater impact whilst also having a work-life balance.
