Date
11/05/2018 09:30 - 14:00
Description

As a valued member, the NAHT is committed not only to supporting you during your professional career, but also to helping you consider your choices leading up to retirement. With pension ages rising to 67 or 68, this seminar has been designed to help you make informed choices and consider your options throughout your career.

Delivered by a colleague from the NAHT's specialist advice team and the NAHT Personal Financial Services, this half-day seminar will:

  • Look at work/life balance, including job-sharing, flexible working and working longer

  • Provide an overview and update on the Teachers’ Pension Scheme including options for full or partial retirement

  • Give you an understanding of what it would take financially to be able to fully enjoy retirement

  • Relay practical information and direction on where to obtain credible support and assistance

The seminar will provide brief presentations on these areas followed by small group workshops to allow delegates to discuss specific issues in more depth, including tactics to improve work-life balance.
