Description
This course will ensure that participants become confident to lead and manage the employment life-cycle (including understanding recruitment and selection) – advertising, avoiding discrimination, equal opportunities, job descriptions and person specifications. Employment - offers, contracts and necessary checks, and ending the employment relationship - Contractual rights following resignation and dismissal.
Providing a step-by-step guide, participants will leave the course with a better understanding of the general employment life-cycle, including the formal processes involved in managing disciplinary and grievance procedures. Participants will be provided with an opportunity to reflect on a number of scenarios and examples to help build confidence and develop management strategies.
