NAHT Aspire - Reviewing and redesigning your primary curriculum - London

This course affords delegates an opportunity to begin to review the current curriculum offering. It provides delegates with the NAHT Aspire Curriculum Review resources and explores how these can be used in schools. Delegates plan, strategically, for ways to involve staff in the collaborative development of a curriculum that is broad and balanced, reflecting the needs, interests and cultures of the school community; where learners are well-prepared for the next stage of their education and their lives, and are encouraged to understand their role and responsibility within the school and the wider community.

The core NAHT Curriculum Review resource - the Curriculum Review Rubric is an evaluation framework that analyses all aspects of curriculum design and delivery. It supports schools in implementing a precisely focused and comprehensive review that ensures schools develop their own broad and balanced curriculum - now emphasised as a key feature of a great school by Ofsted.

Julie is an Achievement  Adviser with Edison Learning and leads on the design and development of  Edison's Learning's Primary Connected Curriculum and Curriculum Review.  She has a wealth of experience in supporting schools with curriculum  development, working with school communities to design and implement  broad and balanced curricula that are relevant to their individual  contexts. Julie has previously been a primary school senior leader.
