We have secured a concession from the Standards and Testing Agency to change the 2018 criteria for successful marking reviews.
In the following circumstances, 2018 key stage two tests reviews will be classified as ‘successful’ and schools will not be charged:
- if there is a change of two or more marks to the raw score (rather than three marks as in previous years)
- if there is a change to the pupil achieving or not achieving the expected standard.
The guidance for head teachers about applying for a review of marking for key stage two national curriculum tests in 2018 is being updated and will be published shortly.
