Commissioning speech and language therapy: feedback needed on new draft guidance

Speech bubble 2 website.jpg

NAHT has been involved with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) as they have been developing new guidance for education settings on commissioning speech and language therapists. This new guidance will replace the 2011 document: Guidance on quality standards for local authorities and schools as commissioners of speech and language therapy services in the UK.

A consultation is now open for the new draft guidance for education settings on commissioning (buying in) speech and language therapy services and training which aims to cover the whole of the UK.

RCSLT would be very grateful for your feedback on this draft in order to refine the document and ensure that it meets the requirements of education leaders.

How to provide feedback

  1. Download and read the draft guidance
  2. Submit your feedback via SurveyMonkey

Please note the consultation closes on Friday 27 September 2019.
