The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) have launched new resources to support schools in managing and preventing work-related stress, as part of their Go Home Healthy campaign .

The Talking Toolkit has been designed to be used as a framework to help support line managers having conversations with their staff and colleagues about issues that might cause work-related stress or areas which could have the potential to become future causes if not properly managed.

The toolkit has six templates for six different conversations, each with a different theme, along with links to further advice and support.

HSE are now aiming to develop an additional two versions of the Toolkit which contain content which is specifically relevant to Welsh and Scottish schools

HSE are keen to receive feedback on the toolkit, so if you have any comments that you would like to share with them please email policy@naht.org.uk .

NAHT continues press the Government to tackle the system drivers of workload and stress in the sector, including the low-trust, high stakes accountability system. You can see further details on NAHT's campaigning work here .
