NAHT's secondary council is looking to recruit co-optees to join the council for an initial period of two years. Applicants must be serving members who are working in a secondary setting (including schools, colleges and alternative provision).
The secondary council meets four times a year and considers a broad range of policy areas including, but not restricted to, assessment, accountability, pupil well-being, recruitment and retention and funding. It reports to our national executive and helps to set NAHT policy, campaigning priorities and guidance to members. Further information on the council and its work can be found here.
Participants often find it valuable professional development in its own right, as well as a chance to become more closely involved with NAHT's mission to represent our members and exert a positive influence on government policy.
There are a limited number of vacancies, so if this sounds like something you would be interested in, please complete the application form and return to firstname.lastname@example.org by 17 September 2018.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact Natalie Arnett (email@example.com) who is the administrating officer for the secondary sector council.
