Ofqual would like to invite teachers from across the country to workshops to offer their perspectives on the assessment of this summer's reformed GCSEs, AS and A levels.
The workshops will be their first opportunity to gather qualitative evidence about things that have gone well and any areas of concern.
Workshops are being held for teachers of the following GCSE subjects:
- combined science
- computer science
- food preparation and nutrition
Workshops are being held for teachers of the following A level and GCSE subjects:
Ideally, Ofqual would like teachers who attend to have taught the qualification in its legacy and reformed version. This is so they can comment on the changes and challenges of the new qualifications and how they have been addressed.
The workshops will be held in October, November and December in a central Coventry location. These are free events with a limited number of places. Teachers can register their interest in attending a workshop by following this link to an article about the workshops on the Ofqual website or by clicking on this direct link to the survey. Ofqual will email teachers by the end of September to let them know if they have been selected to take part.
NAHT would encourage members to promote this opportunity to relevant teachers and leaders within your school to have their say and share their experiences.
