Extremism in schools: raising your concerns

The Due Diligence and Counter Extremism Group at the DFE have set up a helpline which is now operational on 0207 340 7264.

The helpline is for raising issues that may be the cause of some concern in relation to potential extremism. You are encouraged to contact the department for further information, advice and guidance.

DfE guidance

The advice document below contains a number of behaviours in schools which may raise concerns. These were identified by The Clarke report into the ‘Trojan horse’ allegations in Birmingham. The list is not exhaustive, nor should the presence of these factors necessarily be assumed to indicate extremism.

This article is available to NAHT members only.
