Well-being will become increasingly important as a result of longer working lives, tighter budgets, and more responsibility and accountability particularly for those on the leadership group. Schools will need to ‘think outside the box’ in order to keep workload under control in difficult circumstances and to support staff well-being.
This advice note covers a wide area in relation to the ‘well-being’ of staff in schools. It sets out, in broad terms, the legislation which applies and signposts members to further information on specific aspects of legislation and good practice.
