Use of schools as polling stations

​Once again, for the third time since 2017, we are facing a general election on 12 December 2019.

Schools have been used as polling stations for many years because they are embedded in local communities and ideally placed for polling purposes.

If your school has been selected to be used as a polling station, you will hopefully find this school leaders' guidance helpful in determining whether your school needs to close or remain partially open and for further details about the impact of the general election.
