Many of you will be aware of the latest and well-publicised ‘killer clown’ craze that originated in the US and is now sweeping across many parts of Europe, including England and Wales.
The craze is spreading quickly via social media and is likely to culminate on Halloween night, 31st October 2016, although the discontinuation of ‘killer clown’ sightings and incidents, after Halloween, can’t be guaranteed. Children travelling to and from school are a target for the perpetrators of the craze. At these times in particular, children are at greater risk and require the protection of the school, where this is practicable to do so.
