GDPR is here, and after 20 years, the Data Protection Act 1998 has been abolished.
This is our fourth GDPR advice paper about what schools need to have done and what they need to continue to be doing to comply with the new regulations. In the last of this series of GDPR advice papers, we set out the following:
- A final GDPR checklist that highlights the changes and subsequent actions all schools and colleges must do or have already done
- An ‘information management toolkit’ for schools and colleges; while the toolkit pre-dates the launch of GDPR, it lays the foundations for GDPR compliance.
