In NAHT’s experience, subject access requests (SARs) from parents have become a routine feature of school life. The law recently changed in a way that that imposes new mandatory obligations on all schools and trusts. This guidance will help NAHT members understand the background to the legal change, its implications for schools and the actions they are likely to see from local authorities and trusts in response.
