From 1 September 2009 (Round 10), threshold assessment for teachers in England subject to the Education (School Teacher Performance Management) (England) Regulations 2006 will be based on the evidence contained in the Performance Management Review statements covering a two-year period leading up to the request for assessment. As a result, DCSF and social partners have made some minor changes to the PM guidance and model PM policy to reflect this, and you can download these documents by following the attached link
The updated documents focus mainly on some changes in relation to threshold assessment from 1 September 2009. DCSF and its social partners are, however, committed to revising the PM guidance and model PM policy further, and aim to publish updated documents in spring 2010. These documents will be placed on the teachernet website
