The National Autistic Society, with help from Pears Foundation, is in the process of developing an online module for clinicians and professionals. The online module will enable them to learn about women and girls with autism, which will have the potential to benefit 2,000 women and girls on the spectrum per year.
The project began towards the end of 2016 and in its first six months has made substantial progress with the development of the module with valuable input from focus groups, researchers and sector professionals. The delivery of the online module is planned for March 2018 and will be launched at the National Autistic Society Professional Conference.
