Give us your views to inform NAHT’s response to the Lenehan Review

Dame Christine Lenehan’s call for evidence on the experiences and outcomes for children and young people in residential special schools and colleges was launched on 23 January.

Further information about the Lenehan review can be found at this link – which includes details about how to respond for those members who may wish to offer their own individual response.

Read more about the aims of the review here.

Give us your views to inform NAHT’s response

NAHT is preparing our response to the Lenehan review.

To inform that response we would welcome your views on the following areas;

  • what good quality support looks like for these children and young people, both pre- and post-placement (including the role of early intervention, family support and community services);
  • how the experiences and outcomes of these children and young people can be improved;
  • how well various agencies support residential schools and colleges to meet the needs of these children and young people
  • the destinations for these children and young people.

Please send your contributions by close of business on Tuesday 7 March to ian.hartwright@naht.org.uk
