The last two of three free training seminars on SEND inclusion practices by NAHT’s charity partner, Family Action, will take place in March.
The seminars have been designed to help those wishing to develop their inclusion practices for children with special educational needs and disabilities. They are particularly aimed at supporting schools, children’s centres and other childcare providers.
Topics cover what is meant by inclusion, how to adopt anti-discriminatory procedures, barriers to inclusion and action planning.
The first seminar took place in Greater Manchester on 25 February.
The second seminar will be on Monday 2 March at QE11 Jubilee School, Kennet Road, London W9 3LG and will feature Concept Training as guest speakers. For further information, visit www.learning-exchange.org.uk. The flyer for this event is available here.
The final seminar will be held on 17 March at Headway Devon X Centre, Commercial Road, Exeter EX2 4AD. Visit www.learning-exchange.org.uk for details. The flyer for this event is here.
To book your place at either event, email AskLEX@family-action.org.uk.
