Exciting science workshops now available to book at the Royal Institution

Every summer, in July and August, science communication charity The Royal Institution (Ri) runs a Summer Schools programme, bringing to life all areas of science, mathematics, computing and engineering through exciting hands-on workshops.

The workshops in the L’Oréal Young Scientist Centre offer students the chance to be a scientist for the day by making explosive bath bombs, extracting their own DNA, investigating forensic science, exploring the chemistry of colour and much more.

In the workshops devised by the Ri’s Masterclass team, students will take part in sessions led by experts from across industry and academia. Students can design and build their own underwater robots, have a go at computer coding and mathematical origami, or even try their hand at bioengineering.

The workshops run from 24 July to 1 September and are suitable for ages 7 to 18. You can find more information, browse the full programme and book your place click here
