Aspire is NAHT's flagship school improvement programme. It's a ground-breaking initiative that helps all types of schools take responsibility for their own standards and, if needed, gives them the support and tools to drive a programme of improvement that’s uniquely suited to their school.
The University of Derby has independently evaluated the exciting results of the pilot NAHT Aspire programme. The report shows how the 32 schools that began the process 'Requiring Improvement' significantly turned performance around. In fact, the Aspire pilot schools made twice the improvement of schools nationally for both progress and attainment and at the last Ofsted inspection, 63 per cent had raised performance to Good with more forecast in the next round of inspections.
As the pilot programme has proven, Aspire an excellent investment for any school. It delivers meaningful, measurable improvements for schools, teachers and - most important of all - children.
