Applications for accreditation to deliver the new National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) now open

As of this week, the Department for Education (DfE) and National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) are inviting schools and other organisations to apply for accreditation to start delivering one or more of the new National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) in the 2017 to 2018 academic year.

You can find full details on the Contracts Finder website here.

They are encouraging schools and organisations with the necessary capability, capacity, and commitment to consider submitting an application.

If you have registered to attend one of the provider information events over the coming two weeks, the NPQ Reform Team will be giving attendees an overview of the new approach to the qualifications, the provider accreditation process, and the significant opportunities that accreditation will offer to drive leadership development across the system. If you have not been able to register for one of these events, all information will be available online here

If you have any questions, you can contact the NPQ reform group directly at NPQ.reform@education.gov.uk.
