Class Size

  • New admissions codes effective February 2012
    20 April 2012 NAHT now represents school leaders employed within a broader range of school 'type', therefore it is important to monitor the impact of these Codes on your school. There will be more local variation in admission processes and protocols than before, the regulations therefore emphasise that local authorities must monitor practice and report to the School's Adjudicator.

  • Leaders' Guide to...'Prevent' terrorism strategy
    09 June 2011 The Prevent strategy has been running since 2007 but has been heavily refocused after a consultation which began last November found it flawed. It says the programme had confused promoting integration with preventing terrorism, did not confront extremist ideology and sometimes even funded the extremist organisations it was intended to confront.
