Exploring Academy Status

Course description

Whether or not you are considering applying for academy status, all school leaders should be aware of the key features and management issues associated with academy status.  Academy status is now being offered to a wider range of schools and is a key feature of the government's structural reform plan of the school's system.  This new course will help you to understand the key issues around constitution, governance and finance as well as directing you towards sources of information and support for those who want to take things further.
