Course description

Continuous and rigorous self evaluation is at the heart of school improvement, but needs to be manageable and focused in order to be effective. A former HM Inspector will guide you through the process from start to finish, linking this directly to the essential components of quality assurance and school improvement. The course will include useful advice, relevant information from the latest Ofsted framework, and practical activities relating to your own school.

Please note that this course, inevitably, will cover aspects of school improvement that are also included in "Improving Teaching and Learning in Your School", "Raising the Bar" and "Understanding the New Inspection Framework". However, it does have a different central focus and alternative activities.
