Preparation for Inspection - Understanding the New Framework

Course description

This one-day course will take you through the expectations and changes of the new Ofsted processes for clear understanding of the new framework including:

 

 

  • the risk assessment process

  • changes to how pupil achievement and the quality of teaching in the school are inspected

  • inspecting the quality of the leadership and management of the school

  • inspecting the behaviour and safety of pupils at the school and

  • implications of being satisfactory within the new framework

 

You will also receive specific guidance on:

 

  • presenting secure and persuasive evidence

  • challenging outcomes

  • strategies for dealing with 'difficult' inspectors

  • information on all aspects of the Ofsted complaints procedure and

  • what the NAHT can do to help
