Demonstrating good progress in the EYFS: meeting Ofsted's expectations

Course description

How well do young children learn in your school?  How do you measure and demonstrate the progress they make?  Has your school adapted effectively to the revised EYFS requirements?  This course will help you to understand how Ofsted will judge your EYFS, the different ways you can demonstrate progress and how you can evaluate and develop your EYFS.  This course will be a mixture of informative, reflective and practical activities delivered by a specialist consultant in their field.

Aims of this course

This course will help you to:

  • evaluate your EYFS provision based on the framework from September 2012 and the current Ofsted expectations
  • develop manageable systems for summarising your data so that you can demonstrate good progress
  • use your data to improve provision and outcomes
