Leading effective assessment in your school

Course description

This course has been specifically designed for school leaders to help you to develop the skills to lead outstanding assessment in your school and to support your teachers to put these skills into practice.  You will gain the knowledge to support your teachers to understand how each assessment method contributes to and builds on their current practice, to maximise the effectiveness of school improvement.

Your assessment methods will be examined to ensure they produce data, which is succinct, easy to understand, and used effectively by your staff to improve teaching and learning. The course also focuses on your assessment policy, giving you the opportunity to ensure your policy reflects current good practice.
