Tuesday 20 June - The Studio, Birmingham

Hello and welcome to the NAHT SBM Conference!
As an SBM Representative on the NAHT National Executive and Chair of the SBM Council, I am really pleased to be part of the school business management conference. The specialist content has been developed by the SBM council and SBM members of the NAHT to ensure that it meets your needs. The conference is for all school leaders who are involved in the business side of their schools and at all types and phases of schools and academies.

The programme will feature David Laws, Executive Chairman of the Education Policy Institute and Russell Hobby who is always up-to-date on the latest educational news. You will be able to choose from a range of workshops, for example the centralisation of services, promoting yourself and the SBM role, and the art of grant writing. We have taken up some recommendations from the last year's conference, and have a workshop for Special Schools SBMs and an NAHT specialist talking about the LGPS. I look forward to seeing you in Birmingham.

Nicky Gillhespy, NAHT SBM Council Chair
