<a id="OLE-LINK1"><strong>Making Our Horizons Sing</strong></a>

Brighton Pavilion at night

Annual Conference 2009

Brighton - 1 to 3 May

Our Conference theme builds on the motif of creativity established in 2008.  It declares that our places of learning provide challenge, empower and enable our young people to sing their own song in life and reach personal horizons both near and far.

In our theme, singing is a metaphor for expression of personal talent of any kind.  No-one better represents the triumph of human endeavour better than Tanni Grey-Thompson.  Her journey has taken her beyond imagined horizons.  Articulate, indefatigable and an Olympian in both achievement and spirit, her own song is simply inspirational.  Let yours be the same both this weekend and beyond.

Main Speakers

Rt Hon Ed Balls, MP, Secretary of State for Children, Schools & Families

Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, DBE

Dr Chris Howard, NAHT Natiomal President 2009/2010

Mick Brookes, General Secretary
