Reasonable expectations of teachers not in receipt of a teaching and learning responsibility (TLR) payment

It is a commonly believed myth that a teacher can’t be expected to be a subject coordinator unless they receive a teaching and learning responsibility (TLR) payment.

This advice explains the professional responsibilities of teachers as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document[1] (STPCD), which has statutory force.
