GCSE English Language review
Following the Ministerial statement on 1 April which announced at the was no one causal factor in the decline in performance of candidates in the January units, members of both NAHT and ASCL expressed their extreme dissatisfaction with the outcome of the enquiry.
NAHT Cymru and ASCL Cymru then worked together to ask the WJEC to waive the fees for the re-sits that would need to be taken. They also asked the Board to clear up confusion that exists amongst parents and pupils about which result would contribute to the final grade award.
