Pricing is flexible to meet the needs of varying school sizes and clusters.
Contracts can start at any time of the year to meet school requirements and run for a minimum of 12 months.
For contracts signed by 31st March 2012 there are discounts for buying more than one year, and buying multiple services or in clusters, subject to a minimum spend.
Three buying options - ABC
Schools are able to purchase services at one of three levels to suit their circumstances and upgrade at any time, if it is needed.
Access package
The Access package provides advice and guidance through an on-line portal and telephone helpdesk. The portal provides downloadable advice, guidance, tools and templates, together with frequently asked questions (FAQs), discussion forums, important updates, feedback forms and email query forms.
The telephone helpdesk is answered by a real person from 8am to 6pm on normal working days and is available for an individual problem or query. Simple queries will be answered immediately; more complex queries are passed to an experienced schools subject specialist who will return your call within three hours, or one hour in emergency situations.
Bespoke package
This offers top up adviser days or half days that can be purchased at any time in multiples of one day or half days for schools which have already bought in to one of the other packages. The use of adviser days is as required by the school and may be delivered on-site at school, off-site at meetings or off-site for report writing or other desk-based work.
Combined package
This is our most complete package and consists of the Access package plus five half-days of adviser time, delivered as required by the school and at a discounted rate to bespoke days. The five half days may be delivered on-site at school, off-site at meetings or off-site for report writing or other desk-based work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy the Access package and then upgrade it if I decide we need more support for something that crops up?
Yes. If you start off buying the Access package and then decide you would like some on-site support, you can simply buy as many or as few Bespoke adviser days as you need, at any time. We can respond very quickly to requests for on-site support.
If I buy the Combined package, do I get to decide how the adviser half days are used?
Yes, the adviser will support you in any way that you need, as long as it is within their subject area. You and your adviser will agree on what you need doing and arrange mutually convenient dates or delivery timescales.
If I buy the Combined package and don’t use all my half days, can I carry them over?
No, you should plan to use all your half days in the 12 months from buying in to the service. Your adviser will be able to help you make best use of them to ensure you get value for money.
What if the package I buy doesn’t include something else I need?
If you find you have a specific need for something quite specialised, we can discuss your needs with you and provide a price for supporting you with it.
Once I have bought a package, will I always have the same adviser to support me?
Our aim is always to help build up long-term positive relationships between schools and advisers as we know this makes things so much easier. So once you have bought a package we will allocate an adviser to your school and aim for them to provide the majority of the support. However, if they are unavailable or if you need an expert in a particular specialised field, we may ask a different adviser to support you temporarily.
Can I end an agreement early?
Yes, we understand that circumstances sometimes change, so we ask that you provide three months notice in writing of an intention to end your service from us.
