With language teaching in primary schools set to become compulsory in less than 2 years, schools will need to be planning their strategy and resources now.
NAHT is pleased to announce that Euroclub Schools are offering members an exclusive 10% on their French, Spanish and Italian resources. The teaching materials are aimed at encouraging the take up of languages in primary schools. The resources are practical and easy to follow and can be used by specialist and non-specialist staff in primary schools.
Specifically designed for children, the teaching of languages combined with fun and humour shows a rapid, positive response. Teachers are carefully guided and supported through the lesson plans and pronunciation audio CDs incorporated within the system.
The system is designed to reach every area of daily school life in a variety of ways, (i.e. not just through a formal teaching session) therefore involving the whole school. Pupils are encouraged to read, listen, write and speak in the target language.
The package includes:
- Teacher’s guide and instructions for use.
- Photocopiable sheets.
- Detailed lesson plans and methodology.
- Over twenty songs on audio CD.
- The instrumental version of the songs (karaoke).
- CD-ROMs to print hundreds of accessories to decorate and to use in your school.
- Over 1000 stickers.
- A ‘welcome banner’ in the target language for your school’s entrance area.
- Pronunciation CDs (teachers’ preparation time.)
- Access to a new, on-line resource in three languages: a quiz website, ideal for whole-class participation in teams.
- Primary MFL workshop (optional) for your school staff.
We guarantee ‘whole primary school’ teaching of MFL with continuity and success at a one-off cost and no ongoing expense.
Euroclub Schools is a Recommended Provider of MFL teaching materials and a Corporate Member of ALL (The Association for Language Learning). In addition their materials are held in the CILT (NACELL) Primary MFL library collection.
