NAHT Personal Financial Services, provided by Skipton Financial Services has launched a market leading offering that provides a unique new way of investing for NAHT members with £25,000 or more to invest.
With interest rates at their lowest level for decades and recent stock market volatility, you need to be confident that your investments are achieving their maximum potential returns so we’re proud to introduce our innovative and exciting offering called Monitored Informed Investing (MII).
There are six distinct elements that combine to create MII that will help you achieve your investment goals:
- Individual Risk and Reward Assessment
- Maximise Returns
- Minimise Tax
- Rebate of MII Initial Charge on Death
-
MII Annual report
- Online facility
Individual Risk and Reward Assessment
Firstly, we will assess your risk and reward profile. The first step is to complete a short questionnaire to assess your approach to risk and reward and your short and longer-term investment objectives. This ensures that MII can be tailored to you from the start.
Maximise Returns
This feature will ensure your investments are maximising your potential returns. We will continually monitor the performance of your MII Core Funds against their peers. These are the preferred range of Fund of Fund investments which benefit from all of the MII features. If any perform very poorly, we’ll reimburse our future MII Ongoing Charge until their performance improves, or if we believe they should be removed, we’ll offer to switch them to another MII Core Fund.
Minimise Tax
This new proposition will help you take advantage of your full tax allowance through the simple MII ISA Transfer Facility. This will allow you to take advantage of any unused allowance and invest up to your tax-free limit of up to £7,200 (a figure that will rise in October 2009 to £10,200 for investors over 50) in two ways - either by paying in new monies or by transferring some of your existing funds that you have already invested through MII.
Rebate of MII Initial Charge on Death
Furthermore, in the event of death, the initial charges are returned to your beneficiaries. If you die within three years of making an investment through MII, excluding investments in a Life Assurance Bond, we will refund the MII initial charge received. If you die in years’ four to six, the initial charge will be waived should your beneficiaries wish to reinvest your capital in MII.
MII Annual Report
You will also receive a comprehensive MII Annual Report, which not only summarises your investments, it also contains overviews of the market conditions, as well as how your MII Core Funds have performed against their peers.
Online Facility
To make sure you keep a close eye on your investments, you will also be provided with 24 hour a day secure login to allow you to access your account information online including prices, performance and fund valuations.
All of these elements make
MII a logical choice for investors who want the confidence of knowing their interests will always come first and their investments will be continually monitored, aiming to provide consistent above-average returns. To find out more about how
