Safe schools are liberating (workshop six)

Workshop leader
David Bateson OBE.

Workshop details
Safety in schools: the premises, the personal and the parents.  How do leaders address these issues and ensure they liberate and enhance teaching and learning, and not constraint them? What's efficient and effective for the benefit of the quality of education and its outcomes?

Delegates will leave with:

  • Signposts to advice
  • An idea of how to make safety issues more manageable
  • Parents' responsibilities in communication
  • Reassurance that this must underpin and not usurp their role.
