A guide for school leaders, staff, parents and carers about how best to support children in the aftermath of the Manchester bomb attack on Monday evening, 22 May 2017.
A traumatic event, such as that which took place at around 10.30pm on Monday 22 May in Manchester, can be extraordinarily difficult to process, not least for young children and adolescents.
Children will be looking to their parents, carers, school leaders and classroom staff for guidance and support at this particularly difficult time.
We have pulled together a short document for school leaders and staff (parents and carers too) to help guide and shape the support that can best be provided at this time - we hope it will be helpful.
