I have a 30 ft x 20 ft playground wall that is leaning. It has had scaffolding supporting it since September 2006 we are still waiting for planning approval to rebuild it as English Heritage and the Council cannot agree. It is costing me a year of my DFC money - a drop in the ocean to the half a million costs expected to complete the project ! I will never be a head in a listed building again !

Re: Does listed mean neglected

We are a G2 Listed post WW2 building. We have adopted a "what the planners don't know or see won't hurt" approach wherever possible.
However, we have huge leaking crittall windows which need replacing. The cost would be over £100k. So it will never happen.
